Department of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry

Department Overview

Department of pediatric and preventive dentistry focuses on  individual child and aims at primordial and primary  prevention and emphasize more on children with special health care needs .We specialize in behaviour management strategies including pharmacological and non pharmacological means in order to completely rehabilitate the child . Theoretical knowledge and Skills in managing the infants and children are imparted to the students in this Department. To focus on providing compassionate, child-centered, coordinated, interdisciplinary, high quality oral health care and to develop awareness among child patients, parents, dental professionals, and other healthcare providers.
