She is an eminent prosthodontist and an excellent academician, having a teaching experience of over 22 years in various undergraduate and post graduate institutions. Her vast knowledge and experience in the field has provided students a strong foundation for their careers. She has been trained in CAD-CAM technology from Sirona Dental Academy, Germany. She is an approved PhD guide of Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) and also co-guide for PhD Scholars in universities outside Kerala. She has guided various research projects of postgraduate students in prosthodontics. She has been the Faculty panelist of Prosthodontics in KOMAR University of Science and Technology, Iraq.

Recently her invention in the field of dentistry has received PATENT from Govt of India, and the same was published in the IPO (Indian Patency Office) journal in 2015 itself. She is the founder member of ISPRP (Indian Society of Prosthodontics - Restorative - Periodontics) and life member of IPS (Indian Prosthodontic Society).
