PERIODONTOLOGY is the branch of dentistry that encompasses the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of supporting tissues of the teeth and their artificial substitutes.
The Department provides information about preventive medicine for the patients who present to us and therefore contributes to community oral health.The department is equipped with a good library, where students have access to the latest information available in the literature. With separate undergraduate and postgraduate sections, we are well equipped with modern dental chairs and advanced surgical equipments.
