Dr. Jiji John MDS currently working as a Professor and HOD in the department of
Periodontology and Oral Implantology in Malabar Dental College and Research centre , Edappal,
kerala. He completed his BDS in the year 1997 from Buddha Institute of Dental Science &
Hospital, Patna and MDS from Meenakshi Ammal Dental College & Hospital, Chennai in 2003.
He has 19 years of experience as an academician and worked at different universities around
India and expertise as a clinician in various Periodontal Surgeries as well as in Implants, Lasers,
Microsurgeries and Piezo surgeries.
He is a life member of Indian Society of Periodontology and Indian Society of Oral
Implantologist. In the year of 2014 Sir was Awarded with the BEST PERIODONTIST OF
THE YEAR by Indian Dental Achievers Awards. He was Feliciated with IDA Award in 32nd
UP State Dental conference in 2008 for conduction & contribution as a SCIENTIFIC CO-
CHAIRMAN. He has numerous publications in National and International Journals. He worked
as HOD for more than 9 years and has guided post graduate students. He has done extensive
training in the field of Periodontal surgical designs as well as LASERS at JASLOK Hospital,
Mumbai.
